By now you should already have realized that if I post, its probably because I had a good day.
Saturday began with me finding out there was no parade. I was glad because I didn't want to tire my-self out for the day ahead. After that I went to hindi school(which wasn't so fun), but luckily I could leave early at 4pm. My teacher didn't believe that we were leaving early for a National Day item practice. She believed that we(Mano, Nilesh, Beena and me) were going to watch the friendly between Singapore and Australia.
Talking abt wich I would like to point out how sad it was that we were thrashed in the last match played at the National Stadium:(
We reached the Padang and it was very very hot!
After that we(excluding Mano who went home with his parents) went to the temple with a little detour in between. Whilst the wedding was going on we went to the roof to eat ice-cream and play cards.
After the wedding ended, which was about 0000hrs, there was a very funny show as the bride's sister had forgot to steal the bridegroom's shoes. Instead, the bridegroom's best friend sold him out for 50% of the share. After some bargaining, the bridegroom tricked her by throwing $50 into her hands. Thus, since she had already taken the money, she had to hand over the shoes. But luckily the Bridegroom gave her another $150, which means she got $200, the original price she asked for. The newly weds then left, only after the bridegroom's grandfather had thrown money onto the road. After they left, the bridegroom's best friend was demanding $500 from the bride's sister. I wonder how they settled that. Haha it was quite a sight to see.

Gala Nite was very fun, I think my group Freshh was the best performer. Unfortunately I made a mistake- I was too quick to stand up. But still I enjoyed the night . After the show Kumaran and I performed card tricks to people chosen almost at random. My favorite audience was Miss Shanthi, our HOD of English. She was a good audience and was shocked to see Kumaran levitating. I would upload the video as soon as I can get my hand on it.
