Teaching can be such a pain.

Yesterday the assistant tkd coach did not come. So the coach split all the belts up and got seniors to teach them. I was in charge of the brown2 and brown1. They are such a pain, not willing to listen, impatient to move on to the next pattern although they have not mastered the current one being taught yet. My salute to all the teachers and coaches out there.

But I have to say, I my own opinion, the "attack", obviously meant to disgrace Bush, was unsuccessful because of the way he ducked the shoes! So agile! Cool haha....

Ok so I read Twilight. The book was nice. Nice is such a vague word.
Now I've started reading New Moon, the second book in the series.

There are parts I truly enjoy and parts at which I wonder why I am reading the book.

Yup. I guess I'll never pass as a book critic.

|The end of Heroes|

Just finished watching the last episode of Heroes Volume 3: Villains. I have to say, it was a HUGE disappointment.
When the promo videos and trailers of volume 3 came out, fans everywhere got hyped up. Even the name of the volume was enough to get us excited; Villains. Fans every where were discussing the possibility of showdowns between two clear teams of villains and heroes. Possibilities of current heroes becoming bad. Of villains becoming good.

When in the middle of the series, when Sylar was portrayed as Peter's brother and joined the good guys, it got even more exciting.

But I have to say, the volume finale was SUCH a disappointment! Most of the best villains are dead, most dying before Sylar or Peter absorbed the powers.
Even Sylar is portrayed as dead, but i doubt it. I bet Peter's mother saved him.
And we find out the villain of next season would be Nathan.

The only good things about it was that Mohinder is normal again but retained his powers and that Peter has his powers again.

Sorry, very emo right now. Stupid heroes. Season one was SO mind blowing that all fans are addicted. We just can't quit watching. Hoping for heroes to get back on track like season one. Waiting. Perhaps in vain...

HELLO PEOPLE!!!
I'm back!

OKay first major announcement- My younger brother Ankit has his own blog! I'm like omg! He had asked me to help him create it the other day. Go and check it out; HERE!

I'm blogging after so long, had restrictions on using the computer haha. But now I'm back! Just woke up awhile back and showered and everything. I've caught a cold, I think because of all the dust from tidying up the computer table and a bit of my room yesterday.

ARRGH Tkd grading is like on the first saturday of 2009. I'm freaking out, but at the same time excited about it, especially looking forward to my new uniform!

Its the the middle, or the second half of the holidays already. I havent done any homework or revision yet. Think I'll start from Monday, seeing that there is tkd bbq tommorrow. I wonder how the bbq qould be like, seeing that a lot of small kids might turn up.

Thinking of getting a pet goldfish. Still thinking.

I wish December never ends...

|Ash The Sailor|

I realized that all my profiles on socializing networks are dead. Friendster, Orkut, Hi5, Tagged and Facebook(other than the fact that I play PetSociety on it).

Man I wanted to complete my C++ program today, the one that's holiday homework, but my C++ isn't working so I'll have to reinstall it.

Today had sailing session. At first the wind was really good an we were sailing with speed but then it started raining and the wind died. I'm telling you, it does not feel good to be a lone sailor out at sea with the cold raining pouring at you can you can't see a few meters around you. While out there I had time to think. About important things that matter. Like what to eat for lunch later.

Later the rain died down a little and felt really good. But there was still no wind and so I just went to the front of my boat, lied down in the middle and waiting for the waves to bring me to shore, since there was still lightning risk. Thankfully the my sail caught some wind and I rode it all the way back to shore.

I SWEAR there was this swordfish, no less than a meter or a meter and a half long that was near the surface of the water, then splashed on the water once, jumped into my boat then jumped out to the other side. I was just shocked.

I want to play DotA but all my "clan mates" are all not available :(

I managed to fix the problem with my Windows Explorer. Apparently, One of my folder had some problem. I couldn't delete it since I couldn't even click on it. Finally I managed to delete it using Command Prompt.

Still waiting for Heroes....Guess I'll go sleep first....Can't wait for Sailing tmr...

|Gone with the wind...|

Ok I'm back from OBS. OBS was GREAT FUN! Trekking, High Rope Elements and Kayaking Expedition. The best has to be doing the high ropes while tied to another guy, cause it made it more fun. I got to catch up with a few OCIP mates who were in my group too. The mosquito bites are killing me NOW! They have been extremely itchy since yesterday. Maybe there are more mosquitoes in my house now.

Yesterday I had went Sailing! Was quite tiring as the wind condition was very light and I have no sense of wind direction. The whole trip was made totally worthwhile when heading back to shore; a sudden gust of wind caught me and my boat went perpendicular to the water! I seriously thought for a moment that I was about to capsize. Then I found myself "standing on the water". I managed to pull/push the boat back to normal.

My PetSociety Pet, MonMon, is now super rich and awaiting the Xmas specials to go on sale!

|Purple Line|

Its 1.47am in the morning. Just finished packing and showering. Would be going off to OBS soon, without any form of technology. I'm feeling very tired, better get some rest.

Friday night I had went over to my cousin's place. Ashnee's family and another family had gone too. For Diwali visiting Ashnee was not there but Beena and Poonam were. We played cards. 4 cards, Tie TI (I don't know how to spell it but I know how to play it) and Heart Attack. It was really fun and we played till very late. Then our parents began to drink tea at about 12am. We reached home at 1am.

Saturday night Ashnee's family came over to my house. This time my siblings, Poonam, Beena and I played cards like crazy. First we were playing 4 cards, ans then we moved on to heart attack. We were literally wrestling each other. Beena and Poonam did not want to put their hands on the top of the pile and so they used their long finger nails to try to get below while me and my elder brother used our strength to fight to stray below. Once i a while my sister would pinch people for no apparent reason.

This weekend I managed to go out with Mano a bit. Played a tiny winy bit of Dota as well.

Sadly I would have to wait till Friday to watch Heroes. SouthPark as well. I am blogging after so long. Didn't really have the mood or I was distracted before. Like the PetSociety on facebook had totally had me hooked. Thank God I have managed to get off it. Managed to fight the addiction for Dota (since the urge to play it is under control) and now PetSociety too.

This post is in purple because I think I finally got the meaning behind the "Purple Line". Even I have not got the meaning then it still makes sense to me.

Today we had a really long break. We had 2 hours classes and after that was like 5 hour break before our Conversational Mandarin class, which I found out later that I did not even have to attend.

First we went to MacDonald for lunch. Then Muthu and I played Dota in school. After that we played cards. Wanted to play basketball but it was SO WARM! And finally, I went for class.

Today was OP. I went to school at 8 to be the audience for JiaKiang's group. One of the teacher's phone started vibrating halfway during the speech by the first speaker. I was like - wth?! And during the last speaker's speech, it went off again! It was quite loud. She didn't even do anything about it after the first time it went off!

I was extremely nervous, thank God for some reason that I don't remember, we laughed a lot before the presentation, which calmed my nerves A LITTLE. My speech was almost fully memorized so I did not look at the cue cards and I forgot to flip the cue cards as I wen along. And suddenly I reached a part where I could not remember the words so I started flipping my cards, which took maybe 3 seconds most, but seemed like eternity to me. And I skipped one paragraph accidentally. I read the first few words and then read the last few words of the paragraph. The sentence made sense, and the paragraph did not contain any points on the slide, so I decided not to correct my mistake. The length of my speech was OK, 4.26 minutes.

During the Q&A I was asked - "How would you convince teenagers to stop eating fast food?"
I was so stunned that I took about 5 to 10 seconds to get started. Halfway through my mind went blank and I tired to remember the question. I then gave another point and said that's all.

This is why we were laughing before the presentation.

The modderator asked me: "Where would you be presenting?"
Me: "At the front."
The modderator appeared to be thinking for a few seconds and then said: "Of course the front."

|OP|

used to live through every week, looking forward to Tuesdays. You'll probably know why. Heroes comes out every Tuesday. But this Tuesday, it not airing. I don't know why, but its probably because of the presidential elections in US. Sighs.

Tomorrow is Oral Presentation for Project Work. It is the last stage of the PW process. My speech is mostly ready. Would practice answering from questions that I might be asked tomorrow in the Q&A section. I don't know if I'm feeling more scared or excited. Woot!

Today 2 of my sister's friends came over and we played cards. I miss playing cards. Whatever happens, I must have an overnight card playing session this holidays!

Yesterday almost my whole class went to one of my classmate's house to practice for tomorrow. We were practicing at first, then we had a dry run and then we started getting distracted. Some of them watched TV or played PS2 while some others, including me, played Bomberman with each other. We ordered pizza for lunch and then played cards. Then some of the boys, including me, took turns to play Dota.

|Happy Diwali|

Wow it has been such a long time ever since I blogged. I have been procrastinating it for way too long. I guess that in the last couple of days, whenever I logged on, the only thing that was visible to me was Dota. It can be a really addictive game at times.

Today I went to watch the Hindi movie "Heroes". I thought it was a war film but turns out it is more of a patriotic film. I was REALLY boring and by the middle of the movie I was wondering when it was going to end. There was a lot of over acting, by Bobby Deol, which at times made it seem like a tamil movie. I don't know why they even show patriotic movies overseas. I mean like are they trying to get NRIs to go back? Never Returning Indians. Its all in the name.

My brother, Mano and I went to play pool on his birthday. It was pretty fun although I didn't really concentrate on playing. Pool takes way too much concentration. While having dinner we saw a poster for a band called ASH. Here are two pictures. Wanted to upload my own self playing too but the picture is with my brother and the process is too tiring. Basically I'm just feeling lazy.

Ashnee went India for his holiday. My brother and I went to send him off. I really miss him now, we used to do so much stuff together, especially during the holidays. No one to go inline skating with anymore. Taekwando is also so boring without him. I have stopped going for the Saturday classes since it is so far and I don't want to go alone. Can't wait for him to get back. But sadly when he gets back, school would begin.

The other day I went shopping with my younger brother and parents and later my whole family went out for dinner. It was rather hilarious that my younger brother ordered a lot of food but didn't eat much. Here are two pictures:

Anyways tomorrow is Diwali, SO HAPPY DIWALI EVERY ONE!!! :D

|Happy Birthday Mano|

Wow.
I played Dota just now. 3 straight matches. I won all 3. The frist two were against Ashnee, whom I won easily, but the last match was a 2v2 with classmates. MingSeng was on my team and we were against ChengHong and Ibrahim.
The whole game lasted 1 hour 16minutes. It ended at 12 on the dot, the time after which I am not allowed to game. I took screenshots, but its in tga format and I am lazy to convert it, its so troublesome.
Anyways thanks MingSheng for guiding me and thanks guys for the most fun match that was so hard.

Mano and I have been friends for more than 11 years now. That's 11 out of 17 years of our lifes. We really had loads of fun over the years and Hindi School was fun because of him. Thanks for everything Mano(:

|The present God gave me: The Present|

When we were younger, Mano and I used to play Runescape together while talking on the phone. We used to do quests together, guide each other, train together and go to the wilderness together. Those used to be the times.

Now Mano and I play Dota together while having a conversation on Skype. We tag team against enemy heroes, inform each other about happenings on the map, alert each other on enemy positions or possible attacks against us and plan strategies together. Probably in the future I'll look back and say 'Those used to be the times.'

So the best remedy is to enjoy everything you do. Think fully of what you are doing right now and of nothing else. Since you are reading my blog think only of what I'm trying to say and how I'm feeling and not of when you are next going to meet me(just kidding).

Think not of the past and future. Concentrate on making a better past for tomorrow and fulfilling yesterday's future.
